He is survived by his wife, Dawne Floyd Burroughs; son, Gavin Burroughs (Kimmy); daughters, Sarrah, Olivia, and Alaina Burroughs; brother, Jonathan Burroughs (Tiffini); sister, Kathryn Burroughs McDaniel (Kevin); two granddaughters, Zai and Zari; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jason was a hard-working individual who always put family first and greeted everyone with a smile. He was an avid racing fan, enjoying both dirt track and NASCAR. He was a dirt track driver with Burroughs Racing for over 30 years.
An enthusiastic sportsman as a player and fan, Jason shared a passion for Clemson sports along with his entire family.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, July 15, 2024, at Stephen Greene Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church. Burial will follow in Stephen Greene Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jason's memory to Stephen Greene Baptist Church.

The very 1st time I meet Jason was when he was our Mechanic at Pike. He introduced his self and I the same, SkippyDogg. We shared many laughs and talked a lot about Racing. Jason was a Very Kind and Honest Man and I´m Proud to call him My Friend. I remember one day we was gonna hook up the trailer to the road tractor an I said I use the dozer blade to hook it to the pental hitch. He crossed his arms and said Ain´t never gonna work and I said to him yeah it will, well the trailer rolled down the hill a lil bit an Jason was just a laughing had tears rolling down his face , me white as a piece of cotton. He looked at me an said I got this Skip Dogg you just load the dozer an I´ll hook the trailer up. Love ya ole friend an I´m gonna miss you
