Jason M. Byrne of Turners Falls, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on September 29, 2025. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Jason was raised with love and devotion by his beloved mother, Phyllis Williams, and his grandmother, Flora Williams, both of whom took great pride in shaping the man he became. He was educated in Westfield, Massachusetts, where he also spent many years working in manufacturing at Cycle Street. Though Jason was a dedicated worker, his greatest pride came from being a stay-at-home dad. He poured his heart into raising and supporting his daughter and stepchildren and took great joy in being present in their lives. Jason had a deep love for the outdoors-especially fishing-and found peace in nature. He was passionate about music and a true sports enthusiast. He faithfully cheered on his favorite teams, the Cleveland Indians and the Miami Dolphins, and loved sharing that excitement with those around him. He is survived by his loving partner, Amanda McCollaum of Turners Falls, whom he met when they were just 17 years old. He is also survived by Amanda's children, Joshua and Dominic McCollaum, his daughter, McKenzie Byrne, his brother, Jeremy Cody, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply. All services and burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA 01118. Jason will be remembered for his kind heart, his devotion to family, and his unwavering love for life's simple joys.
