Jason Allen Frey, 46, of Weston passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at his home. He was born in Buckhannon, WV on February 15, 1979, son of Kimberly Allen Frey of Buckhannon and the late Elizabeth (Evix) Frey. Jason was united in marriage on June 2, 2007 to Alicia Shannon (Murvine) Frey of Weston, who survives.
Cherishing their memories of Jason are his wife, Alicia, children, Bryce Huffman of Buckhannon and Rozalynne "Rozie" and Austyn Frey of Weston, mother in law, Roberta Murvine, sister in law, Jesse Dennison and husband, Bill, niece, Haylie Dennison, and nephew, Dillon Dennison.
In addition to his mother, Elizabeth, Jason has been reunited in Heaven with his infant son, Lundyn, father in law, Jim Murvine, and other relatives.
Jason was a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School class of 1997. He worked 5 years as an electrician for King's Electric in Weston. He was a member of the Broad Street United Methodist Church in Weston and the Weston Moose Lodge #1376. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping. Most of all, Jason loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jason's request for cremation has been honored by Hardman Family Funeral Home's On-Site Crematory of Weston. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Online condolences and life stories in memory of Jason may be expressed at hardmanfamilyfuneralhome.com.
