Jason (Hammer) Hardiman, 44, of Edwardsville passed away on Aug. 20, 2025. Born on Aug. 1, 1981, Jason was known for his charismatic personality and his remarkable skills as a master carpenter. He owned and operated Hardiman's Hammer, where he was admired for his craftsmanship and versatility in numerous trades.
Jason attended West Side AVTS, where he began forging his path in skilled trades. Beyond his professional life, he was a passionate outdoorsman, engaging in hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and quads, water sports, and camping. His love for adrenaline-pumping activities was well-known among his friends and family.
He leaves behind his wife, Courtney, and their children, Jason Jr., Bailey, Kendall, Colin, Bryant, Brandon and Paris. He is also survived by his mother, Sheryn, and partner, Tom; his sister, Lisa, and husband, John; his aunt, Donna, and uncle, Ron; and nieces and nephews. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Richard.
A celebration of life for Jason will be announced at a later date. His family and friends will remember him not only for his professional achievements but also for his adventurous spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to my 3 nephews and Courtney, their children together and his mom & sister. I went to school with Jay. I've known him since we were younger. He was a great dude, a phenomenal hands on dad. Gone to soon..too young. I enjoyed knowing him in adult life. Fu ny guy. I'llnever forget his opening linefir his daily videos..
