Jason Leo Hearn, 46, of Weirton, West Virginia, passed away tragically in a house fire on October 29, 2024.
Born on May 27, 1978, in Steubenville, Ohio, Jason was one of three children of Rickie and Nancy Modranski Hearn. He was a proud graduate of Edison High School, and he followed a unique path as a self-employed artist, creating remarkable crafts from metal and wood that reflected his creative spirit.
Jason had a love for life's simple joys. He found peace in riding his street bike, spending time outdoors fishing, and, most importantly, making memories with his family. Known for his selflessness, Jason was a man who would give you the shirt off his back, regardless of his own circumstances. His generosity, even in times of hardship, left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Jason's legacy is carried on by his devoted parents, Rickie and Nancy, and his beloved children, Seth Taylor, Mazey, Brooke, Natalie, Ariean, Adalyn, and Jason Hearn. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Derick Hearn and Nichole Hearn, his ten cherished grandchildren, niece Riley and nephews Ashton and Jase who brought him endless pride and joy, also two very close friends Tina McGee an Dee Majewski.
Jason's life will be honored privately.
His cremation is under the direct care of the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home's private crematory 3219 Main Street, Weirton.

Jason always made me laugh. One time he drove my car home from a bar that we was at. I rode with another family member. He got home n didn't say a word to me. I woke up the next morning to go to work.
I came outside n my car did not have a back or side window in it and dents on every part. I came back in the house in said "what the hell happened to my car Jason?" He looked at me and said "awh, Yeah, I did roll it a couple times, but it still drives, I drove it home!!!" Lol in true Jason fashion. NO BIG DEAL, I'LL FIX IT. N he did but we laughed about that story for 25 years. I have a million memories with him that I will cherish forever. R.I.P Jason

I remember he took me and my mom in after my dad passed and he treated me like his own he was like my second dad and Natalie adalyn and Ariean are like my sisters I remember one time I was at their house and we were on the trampoline and Jay came and got on with us and I remember I almost fell off because he was bouncing us up and he was being funny and i was cracking up laughing and then last weekend a few days before the accident I was over at their house and we were laying on the floor and stuff and it other friend was in the middle of me and Natalie and she thought the dogs were coming in and she accidentally shut jays head in the door and he lunged at her and it was funny after it happened but I´ll forever miss him he was a great person and treated me like his own I was always welcome there. Rip Jason.
