Lea & Simmons Funeral HomeJason Wade Kee, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 20, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on February 2, 1979, in Memphis, TN, Jason's vibrant spirit and zest for life shone brightly throughout his journey. There will be a Memorial Service to honor Jason's life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at First Baptist Church Macon, 9895 Hwy. 193, Williston, TN 38076.
Throughout his professional career, Jason dedicated himself to his work as an API Inspector for FER, Inc. His commitment to excellence and integrity was evident in all that he did, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Jason was known for his remarkable personality, characterized by his exceptional ability to weave tall tales that brought laughter and joy to those around him. His sense of humor made him a delight to be with, and he had an innate talent for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences. He found joy in simple pleasures, including watching movies, fishing, and enjoying a good meal with family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Johnny Kee; his girlfriend, Lisa Anderson; his grandmother, Doris Louise Pittman; ten sons: Preston Layne Kee (Nicole), Holden Wade Kee, Eli William Kee, Owen Walker Kee, Jax Elton Kee, Braylen Maez Kee, Kreed Everett Kee, Kase Mattison Kee, Reeves Kennon Kee, and Emery Moss Kee; and two daughters: Julia Kaitlyn Gentry (Austin) and Lainee Jewell Pullen (Tyler). Jason also leaves behind a loving brother, Chris Kee; four sisters: Christy Holley (John), Penny Fincher, Dana Taylor (Wesley), and Tessa Holden; two stepbrothers, Bobby and Ronnie Hensley; his stepfather, Wayne Holden; along with six grandchildren who adored him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy M. Pittman Holden and half-brother, Colt Kee. Also preceding him in death are grandparents, William Houston Kee and Velma McQueen Kee, James Pittman, and Frankie Wandabell Powers Holden.
Jason's memory will live on through the countless stories and laughter he shared with those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, humor, and dedication to family will be cherished and celebrated by all whose lives he touched. The family requests that memorials be made to the St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
