Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm. A Celebration of his Life will begin at 6:30 pm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Jamie Cormier Luke; children, Ashley Bunch, Julie Luke, Jaycee Luke, and Ethan Luke; mother, Amy Naquin Luke; brother, John Luke (Jennifer); niece, Caitlin Luke; and nephew, Seth Luke.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.J. "Tut" Luke III; paternal grandparents, Albert Joseph Luke, Jr. and Lois Hebert Luke; and maternal grandparents, Whitney Joseph Naquin, Sr. and Sylvia Lirette Naquin.
Jason will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and everyone's friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with friends and family, especially during seafood boils and BBQ gatherings. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and all the CCU staff at Thibodaux Regional for their exceptional job in taking care of him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Terrebonne High School Crimson Pride Marching Band in Jason's name and memory. His children were and currently are members, and he held this group very close to his heart.
