Jason L. McNeely, 39, of Greenville, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville.
Per Jason's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers and gifts memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Jason Lee McNeely was born on June 10, 1985 in Vandalia, IL, the son of John Lee and Lori Ellen (Smith) McNeely. He has spent the last eight years with his companion, Ashley Rogers. Jason was quite the homebody; he loved working on vehicles and most of all, he cherished the time spent with his children.
He will forever be remembered by his mother, Lori McNeely of Vandalia; companion, Ashley Rogers; daughter, Kayda McNeely; son, Wyatt McNeely; daughter, Cynthia Rogers, all of Greenville; brother, Justin McNeely and wife Misty of Patoka; sister, Amanda and husband Ronnie Cable of Brownstown; sister, Amber and husband Josh Bogart of Brownstown; paternal grandmother, Farrel (Ray) Hyman of Effingham; paternal step-grandmother, Lou Edwards of Edinburg; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandfather, Joseph "Max" Edwards; paternal adoptive grandfather, C.A. "Mac" McNeely; maternal grandfather, Evert "Pat" Smith; maternal grandmother, Betty J. Smith; uncle, Brad Smith; and a nephew, Samuel McNeely.
