Our loving father, son, brother, uncle and dear friend passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at his home. He was 38 years old. Jason Robert Patson was born on June 30, 1986 to Diane (Conklin) and the late Robert William Jr. Patson. Jason was a protector of his family, always helping those around him and giving anything he had. He had a huge presence and was always the life of the party. Jason found peace when he was fishing, and truly enjoyed grilling, cooking and always making too much food.
Jason is survived by his son, Jason Robert Patson Jr.; mom and dad, Diane and Donald W. Jr. Miller; siblings: Jennifer Patson, Dustin Miller, Nichole Patson, Amanda (Alex) Jacques, Robert Patson Jr., Andrew Miller, Zachary Patson and Sandy (Craig) Hartnett; grandmother: Lorraine Miller; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends. Jason will always be remembered as the jokester, teasing the ones he loved most.
Jason was preceded in death by his birth father, Robert William Patson Jr.; grandparents: John and Wanda Conklin, Robert Patson Sr., Yolanda Patson, Donald W. Miller Sr.; cousins: David Williams and Marcus Patson.
FUNERAL: A funeral service for Jason will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Robert Tibbits will officiate with cremation to follow the service.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation on behalf of Jason Jr., c/o Diane Miller. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.DeislerFuneralHome.com

One thing I'll always remember about Jason was his kind soul. Jason and I worked together for over a year. He approached everyone as if they were his friend.
If you thought he wasn't, he'd wear you down with jokes and good company. One thing that led to us becoming friends was what we had in common- we are both father's. We would swap stories about our boys, and the joy it brought us being their best friends. I talked to Jason a lot, and his biggest joy in life was his son. He always talked about Junior and the time they spent together. I could tell immediately this guy was a good Dad.
Both my sons worked with us, and Jason was their favorite. He always talked to them like men, treated them like friends, and was always entertaining. Jason should've been a comedian cuz he loved telling jokes. There was never a dull moment when you were around him. He was my friend, and I'll miss having him around to pass the time. Truly a good guy. We're all fortunate to have known him.
