Jason Paul Rector, son of James Rector Jr. and Geraldine "Gerry" (Tomlinson) Rector, was born December 6, 1966 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, April 7, 2024 in his home at the age of fifty-seven years, four months and one day.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Adam and Nicholas "Nick" Rector.
Jason is survived by his wife, Clara Rector; a son, Isaac Rector and a daughter, Akiah Rector, both of Kansas City, Missouri; his sister, Dottie Newland and husband Chris of Holts Summit, Missouri; three brothers, James "Jay" Rector III and wife Cita, of Orange Park, Florida, Howard Rector and wife Amy of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Ben Rector and wife Jacklyn of Macks Creek, Missouri; two aunts, Linda Lavanchy and husband Gary of Greenview, Missouri and Carolyn Adams and husband Jerry of Macks Creek, Missouri; two uncles, David Tomlinson of Camdenton, Missouri and Charlie Tomlinson of Osage Beach, Missouri; his best friend, Bobby Neff and wife Suzie, of Camdenton, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Jason grew up in the Camdenton area and was a graduate of Camdenton Christian School in the Class of 1986. He spent time working at Modine Manufacturing, the Reveille, and later worked as an HVAC Technician.
Jason had made his profession of faith and was saved and baptized at Bible Baptist Church in Camdenton, Missouri.
He was an avid sports fan and closely watched NFL and his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. He also liked to watch NASCAR and Golf. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf in his younger years.
Jason was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. We will celebrate his life and continue to treasure the many memories he has created for his family and friends.
