Jason Ray Reddick, 53, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 5:26 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 12, 2024, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Rev. Tim Cole will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the funeral home.
Arrangements for cremation will follow the service.
Jason was born December 16, 1970, in Quincy, IL to Ernest R. Reddick and Jane Nelson Akright.
Survivors include his father, Ernest R. Reddick of Pittsfield; mother, Jane Akright of Hull, IL; one daughter, April Coale of Springfield MO; one brother, Louis Goodwin (Mariah) of Hull, IL; one sister, Sara Reel (William) of Pittsfield, IL; half sister, Bridget Matson (Sean) of Virginia; half brother, Brian Doss of Chicago, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his great niece, Jade, which he had a special bond with.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents; and stepfather, George Akright.
Professionally, Jason was a farmhand in Pike County, IL and was also an over the road truck driver.
Away from work, Jason enjoyed being outdoors fishing, listening to hard rock music, and spending time with his dog. Jason admired old classic cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Above all, Jason treasured the times spent with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Goodwin, Dakota Goodwin, William Reel, Tyler DeJaynes, Rodney Cobb, and Marvin Reel.
Memorial contributions may be made to James O'Donnell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
