Mr. Jason Walter Toole, 49, of Warrenville, SC, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, while hanging out with his loyal four-legged companion, Buddy.
A lifelong area resident, Jason is the beloved son of Vicki Bush Toole and the late Stephen E. Toole, Sr. Jason was a 1993 graduate of Midland Valley High School and was employed by the Woodhead Division of the Graniteville Company prior to his health declining.
Jason was the most avid DAWG fan known to man. He could often be found on Saturdays cheering his DAWGS on and calling them on their mistakes. He also was an avid Trekkie and WWF fan.
Jason was much loved by his family and friends. His nieces, nephew and great-nieces, Justin Toole, Kendall (Ryan) Jones, Kaitlyn Toole, Riley Jones and Brooklyn Jones, loved Uncle Jake, and he loved them as well.
The needs of others were always put above those of his own. Jason was a kind, gentle and caring soul.
In addition to his mama, nieces, nephews and his dog Buddy, Jason, Jake or the Jakeman, is loved, missed and will always be in the hearts of his brother, Steve (Kerri) Toole, a very special cousin, who Jake loved like a brother and referred to him as "Bubba", Kip Smith, a very special aunt, Julie Holberton, aunt, Christy Lord and grandmothers, Joan Lancaster and Betty Bush.
Also preceding Jason in death were grandparents, Gary and Edna Toole and Walter Bush.
Friends will be greeted by the family on Sunday, December 29, 2024, beginning at 1 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Rev. Earl Carter will officiate. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Steve Toole, Ryan Jones, Bucky Banks, Rocky Lord, Kip Smith and Ben Atkinson.
