Born in New York City, the son of Dr. Stanley and Angela (Martucci) Zaborowski, Jay was raised in Whippany. He was a 1993 graduate of Whippany Park High School where he excelled at baseball. Jay was recruited to play baseball at Tusculum College in Greenville, TN and there, earned his Bachelor of Art Degree in Marketing. He had worked for Clair Brothers Global in PA and was currently teaching music at Tusculum College. Jay was an accomplished musician and especially enjoyed playing guitar.
Jay was the beloved son of Dr. Stanley and Angela Zaborowski. He is also survived by his brother Russell and his wife Donna, his uncles, Richard Zaborowski, Vincent Martucci, and Joseph Martucci, his aunt Elena Martucci, his niece Paige Zaborowski, and his nephew Ryan Zaborowski.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jay's memory may be made to either Whippany Park High School, Jason Zaborowski Music Scholarship, 165 Whippany Rd., Whippany, NJ 07981 or Parsippany Animal Shelter, 1001 Parsippany Blvd., Parsippany, NJ 07054.
