St Martinville, LA - Homegoing services for Mr. Javonte' Anthony, 18, who passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00AM with a Holy Rosary beginning at 8:30 and viewing immediately following until the time of services.
Jevonte' "Buck"Anthony was born on August 6,2005 in Lafayette, LA. He grew up with his family in St. Martinville, LA. Javonte' attended St. Martinville Senior High School and Job Corps. Javonte' was a devoted son, caring brother, loyal friend, and loving person. His radiant smile and positive energy left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Javonte' was known as a ball of fun to be around. He had a beautiful smile that would light up a room, his heart was so big, and he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing basketball, watching movies, and playing video games. To name a few of his favorite: Fortnite, Madden, Call of Duty, and GTA. He loved Cowboy bebop (an anime), Prodigal Son.
Javonte' was planning to soon start working offshore and had dreams of pursuing a trade in welding.
Mourning his departure yet cherishing his memories are his mother: Willa Mae Anthony; his siblings: Jarvis Anthony, Shatoya Anthony, Shalisa Anthony, Shakia Anthony, Jamorris Anthony, Shania Fuselier, Shalasia Anthony, Stephanie Odu, Gabriel Narcisse (Yvette), Nathaniel Narcisse, and Frannie Narcisse; his girlfriend: Roynavia Batiste and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. Though his time with us was short, his memory will be cherished forever.
He is preceded in death by his father, Francis Narcisse, Jr., his maternal grandfather Wilton "Tulut" Anthony, Sr., Aunt Sharon Anthony, and uncle Wilton "Butch" Anthony, Jr.
