Jaxon Scott Gabbard

Jaxon Scott Gabbard, born October 22, 2025, to Ericka Hill and Micah Gabbard. Jaxon left this world far too soon on November 18, 2025.
Though with us for only a brief time, Jaxon filled our hearts completely - a tiny life who brought immeasurable joy, wonder, and hope. In his short time here, he reminded us of the purest kind of love: quiet moments, small hands, peaceful breaths, and the way a new life can change everything. While our hearts are broken, we are profoundly grateful for every moment we were blessed to share with him.
Jaxon is survived by his loving parents, Ericka Hill and Micah Gabbard; his big brother, Jace W. Gabbard; his grandpa Kevin Luker; grandparents Randy and Jo Gabbard; aunt Regan Hill; uncle Brandon (Brandy) Gabbard; aunt Brittany (Brad) Sigafoos; uncle Jake (Hannah) Gabbard; great-grandparents Joyce Hill, Donna Gabbard, and Glen (Anita) Rahe; many beloved cousins, and great aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Debbie and Scott Hill, and great-grandfathers Ben Gabbard and Stanley Hill.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at River View Cemetery in Aurora, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
Jaxon's time on earth was short, but his impact on our hearts is everlasting. He will be loved and remembered always. And "although small, he will always have a grip on our hearts".
