Jay Charnell Obituary
Jay Anthony Charnell was born November 15, 1956 in Oxnard, CA to John Arthur Charnell and Jolene Baker Charnell. He grew up in the warm climates of California, Arizona, and Nevada that he loved. Jay graduated from high school and worked in the construction industry where he became a foreman which suited him because he enjoyed being the boss. In March of 2019 Jay married Lisa Ferguson in Grafton, ND. They made their home in East Grand Forks with his beloved German Shephard, Ace. Jay enjoyed debating, music, fixing things, tinkering, and gambling a little.
Jay is survived by his wife Lisa Ferguson of East Grand Forks; brother Jim Charnell of Glendale, AZ; step-mom Rose Charnell; step-sister JoAnn Renea Kinshella; step-brothers Dan, Michael, and David Kinshella; and his dog Ace. He was preceded in death by his parents John Arthur Charnell and Jolene Baker Charnell Robertson, brother John Wayne Charnell, nephew Matthew Charnell, mother-in-law Marlene Ferguson and sister-in-law Lori Ferguson Behm.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
