Jay Stanley Sundt, 64, of Chandler Arizona, passed away peacefully, on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Hospice of the Valley-Dobson Home, in Chandler Arizona, where he succumbed to his battle with cancer.

I was so sorry and sad to hear that Jay had passed away. My deepest sympathy to Joanne, and all of Jay´s family. I feel fortunate to have grown up in Connersville with neighbors that included the Sundt Family. So many great memories! Jay was a great friend and was always so fun to hang with. I regret that our paths had not crossed in several years but the memories will live forever.

To all those who loved Jay as I did, you have my deepest heartfelt condolences.
Jay, it has always felt like I spent a lifetime with you in Fort Fun, you were such a good friend and there were so many good times. I thank God for sharing you with me. For now, losing you feels like there will always be something missing inside of me. Overtime, I know the emptiness I feel will be replaced with that lifetime we shared together.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace
You will always be with me Jaybird,
Houckie

One of the truly nicest people you'd ever wish to meet, & such a very handsome young man. I'm so very sad to here this news, esp for his beloved wife & all of his family & dear friends. He was truly a kind soul, seemed to always have a smile to share. No doubt a testament to his parents love in raising their children. Loving prayers go out to all of you. Fly High Jay !!

I really enjoyed our bantering back and forth and loved our baseball talks. He liked the Alan Parson Project but hated their song Psychobabble so of course when they would play it live, I'd record a video and send it to him. He got a kick out of that. Going to miss you Jaybird. RIP
