Jay Swearingen Obituary
Jay was a high school graduate, a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as a millwright with Caterpillar.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his four children; two sisters, Helen and Kay; one brother, Terry; and several grandchildren.
Preceding Jay in death were his parents; along with several brothers and sisters.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no services at this time.
Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford has been entrusted with Jay's care and services.
