Jaydon Leon Woodall, age 18, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 10, 2005 to Rodney and Jane Woodall (née Rees).
JJ is survived by his loving parents, Rodney Woodall and Jane Woodall; sisters, Faith and Lydia Woodall; paternal grandparents, Lou and Sammie Woodall, and maternal grandparents, Roger (Cindy Betuski) Rees and Susan Anderson. Also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and countless friends.
Woodall was a 2023 graduate from Parkway West High School where he played football and wrestled for all four years. He planned to play football at Missouri Western State University, where he was going to study to be a nurse. Beyond his athletics, everyone knew Jaydon for his contagious laugh and infectious, big white smile. When he smiled at you, it made it impossible not to smile back. He was a respectful young man, friendly to everyone he met, and loved by many. JJ loved the outdoors and hitting the gym.
JJ was a registered organ donor and his family honored his wishes. With the information known so far, he has immeasurably impacted several lives.
A Celebration of Life for JJ will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Life Church STL, 1416 Larkin Williams Road, Fenton, MO 63026. All are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 am, with service following at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to Mid-America Transplant Foundation in his memory.
