Jaye "Junko June" Anthony, 71, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2022, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial to follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jaye "Junko June" Anthony was born on May 21, 1950, in Fukuoka, Japan the daughter of Paul and Hideko (Osako) June. Jaye enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and learning about her Japanese heritage. She liked coin collecting and classic cars. Jaye loved her dog Marley, but most of all she loved horseback riding with her horses, Rudi, and Destiny. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jaye is survived by two daughters, Tawnia June of Cedar Rapids, IA; and Monica (Amy) Stevens of Marion, IA; three grandchildren, Braxton Behrens, Ani Stevens, Kian Stevens. Jaye was the oldest of four, Franklin (Renee) June of Texas; Allen (Najoi) June of Texas; and her father, Paul June.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hideko June and a sister, Ninette Farrier

In lieu of flowers, memorial funds may be directed to the family.
