Ms. Jean Adams, 80, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. Jean was born September 26, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late LN Wise and the late Louise Yancey Wise. Jean was a supervisor for over 30 years working for Chubb Insurance. She liked watching NASCAR and college football, going to car shows and car cruises. Jean enjoyed traveling to casinos with her daughter. What brought her the most joy was time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean was a loving mother, Gee, and faithful Christian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Mel Bishop and sisters, Lenora Wise and Sandra Wise.
Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Dana Fowler of Villa Rica, son, Jerry Reese Jr of Sugar Hill, brothers, Leslie Earl Wise, Wesley Wise, sister, Kelly Kinsey, five grandchildren and their spouses-Emily and Clay Sprayberry, Brian and Arianna Jones, Lexie and Landon Foster, Baily Reese and Brody Reese. She has five great granddaughters- Stella, Josie, Evie, Harper and Payton, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive additional family from 11:00 until 12:00, then friends on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of J Collins Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Mushegan, Jr. will be officiating.
