Jean Annette Hock, age 89, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born January 27, 1933 to the late Ralph and Carolyn McIntier in Guilford, Connecticut. She was the second of 11 children in her family. Jean proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict as an Air Traffic Control Operator. After serving, she returned to a career as an LPN for the State of Ohio. Jean enjoyed many common interests with her husband, Jack; foremost as a wood craftsman, milling and turning many spectacular pieces of artwork. She belonged to American Association of Woodturners, Central Ohio Woodturners, Woodworkers of Central Ohio; National Speleological Society. Jean was also a licensed pilot. Jean also loved being a Ham Operator. In most all of her endeavors she worked and played beside her loving and devoted husband, Jack; they both were a little competitive with each other, and enjoyed each other very much. Jean is survived by children, Wendy Blankenship, Earl Kennedy, Carl (Faith) Kennedy, William Kennedy, Hazel (Brian) Nance; grandchildren, Christopher Kennedy, Jennifer Kennedy, Sean Nance, Melanie Nance, Nona Blankenship, Amanda Blankenship, Dakota Kennedy, Destiny Henderson, William Kennedy III; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Harris, Hunter Harris, Deborah Harden, Weston Blalock, Colton Blalock, Holden Kennedy, and Daisy Ann Henderson. Many other family and friends. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. Friday March 11, 2022 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Pastor Faron Tabor officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. KB8PYX signing off!
