Larry Williamson of Victorian Village, Columbus, Ohio passed away September 9th, 2025. He was born October 23, 1949 in Burgettstown, PA. Larry was a graduate of Penn State University.
Larry and his husband Dale Gussett met in 1979 and were married in New York City in April of 2012. They were partners in life as well as business. L'Antibes, their restaurant in the Short North, was named best restaurant in Columbus for several years. After the restaurant was sold Larry worked as an accountant for Paul’s Fifth Avenue until its closing.
He was predeceased by his brother James L. Williamson.
Survivors besides his husband, Dale, are sister Marcy Kleer (Joe) and sister-in-law Phyllis Williamson, as well as several nephews and a niece, great nephews and a great niece.
Larry loved vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, caring for his cats, the theater, music and playing the piano.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Trevor Project or Colony Cats. Cremation has been arranged by Shaw-Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The funeral arrangements are private.
