Jean Innacus LaFontant, 55, of Hamilton Township, New Jersey, died on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Son of the late Matalane LaFontant, Jean was born July 19, 1969 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After the passing of his mother, Mr. Anaxe Charlenet and Mrs. Dadie Cesarie welcomed him into their home.
Forging through life with unwavering determination, Jean embarked on a career in notarial studies, training at the Notarial Studies Program of Jean Valery which led to him becoming an entrepreneur.
In 1995, he met Marie Ginette Thezalus this union blessed with three children, Jean Clifrantzley, Ralph Carl Henry and Sameul LaFontant. Becoming a father was a life-changing experience for him, and his family was his priority. Striving for perfection, Jean made sure he was always there in efforts to leave a lasting impression. He was selfless, kind and compassionate, he showed love in own way through small gestures and quiet care. He enjoyed finding happiness in the happiness of others.
Predeceased by his mother, Jean's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his wife, Marie Ginette Thezalus, his sons, Jean Clifrantzley, Ralph Carl Henry and Sameul LaFontant and other relatives and friends.
