John & Karen Ross
April 25, 2023
As long as I can remember my father, Harold Ross, always called her "Jeannie Mac". She was one of dad's favorite nieces. Jean loved to play cards, a must in the Ross family, and herself a big card.
One story to share. When dad was 10 or 11, after school one day, he walked over to see his sister, Clara. Jean, just a toddler had crawled out onto an open window on the second floor of the home. Dad in a state of panic ran and stood under the window ready to catch his niece if she were to fall. He yelled over and over again for his sister before Clara realized what was going on. Dad said the experience sure tested the strength of his young heart.
Sincere condolences to her family and friends. Love from John & Karen Ross

Jean and I met in Syracuse, NY while we were dating our guys. We hit it off right away and shared several double dates. We experienced many years as family and friends. Our families expanded with children and cousins to become close. I will miss my sister Jean as we shared years of life. Thank heavens for Meg to keep Jeans spirit going. Love to you, Susan

Jean is my Aunt by marriage but from the very first moment I met her she let me know and feel I was her family. Because of miles we didn´t get to visit often but I loved hearing her talk and the stories she told. Especially those of her and my father in law. I can only imagine the laughter and joy she is having in heaven with her loved ones. But, she will sure be missed here. Thinking of you Meg, Love Sheila MacPherson
