Augusta, Maine-- Patricia Jane Daniels (Tobey)- age 68, died August 23, 2025 surrounded by her family at the Augusta Center for Health & Rehabilitation after a brief illness.

She was born June 11,1957 to Charles and Edna Tobey, raised in Pittston, Maine and graduated from Gardiner High School in 1975. Right after high school at the age of 19, she married her husband Thomas Daniels, this year was their 49th wedding anniversary. Her caring husband cared for her and took care of her right until the end.

Patricia was a stay-at-home mom for her two daughters Nicole and Amanda. Once they were older, she decided to work at Walmart where she ended up retiring after over 25 years of service. Pat loved her coworkers and made so many friends there she would love to talk to about her friendships, especially Stacy and April and of course her daily encounters at the store, lots of stories.

In Pats free time she loved gardening, birdwatching, shopping, snuggling her dog, cooking, baking and spending time with her true loves, her grandchildren Renee and Jacob. She was a loving Mimi calling Renee every day to gossip, which will be missed so much.

Patricia was pre-deceased by her parents Charles and lost her mother Edna when she was 5 and has lost several siblings over the years.

Patricia is survived by her husband Thomas Daniels of Augusta; her daughter Nicole Ouellette and her husband Mark Ouellette of Augusta, her daughter Amanda Atkins and husband Jason Atkins of West Gardiner; her granddaughter Renee Ouellette of Augusta and grandson Jacob Ouellette of Augusta; her twin sister Pam Boucher as well as other siblings and lots of close friends.

She will always be remembered with a smiling face and a heart of gold. Pat will be deeply missed by many there is comfort in knowing she is reunited with her mom. We will always carry our memories in our hearts.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 5th at 2:00 pm at the Riverside Cemetery located on Arnold Rd. in Pittston, Maine.

We will miss you, until we meet again.
