Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - St. PetersJean M. Neustadt, affectionately known as Jeannie, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on November 4, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a beloved member of her community and an integral part of her family.
Jeannie dedicated a significant portion of career to the art of cake decorating. She worked with passion at Baskin Robbins, and took that talent beyond her professional work, creating beautiful cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special events. Her enthusiasm for making occasions memorable was matched only by her later role as a bus aide for the Wentzville School District, where she demonstrated a profound commitment to supporting children with special needs.
A natural hostess, Jeannie was known for her kindness and generosity. She actively participated in her community, serving as the homeroom mother and volunteering for school parties and events. Her pride in her children was evident, and she notably went above and beyond to ensure that family and friends felt supported and cherished. Jeannie was particularly adored by her nieces and nephews, who would often find her presence comforting and uplifting.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Megan J. (Darion) Miller; her son, Scott F. (Nicole) Neustadt; and her grandson, Axel X. Miller. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, John (Sondra) and a host of other family members and friends who will carry on her memory.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma B. Needham; her father, William B. Needham; as well as two brothers, Paul and Joseph, and two sisters, Mary and Jackie.
Services to honor Jeannie’s life will be held on March 7, 2026, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in O’Fallon, Missouri, beginning with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. with a luncheon to immediately follow. There will be a live stream of the Funeral Mass at the scheduled time that can be viewed by clicking here. The family encourages guests that will be in attendance to RSVP with them to ensure enough space for the luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jeannie's name to Huntinington's Disease Society of America or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Jeannie will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her passion for helping others, and her ability to make every moment special. Her legacy of love and support will continue in the hearts of all who knew her.
