Jean A. Weldin, 77, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1948, to Samuel and Stella Conseglio, of Burlington, New Jersey.

Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Ray Atwood Weldin. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kristina Lynn Weldin, who was the pride and joy of her life.

Jean began her career as an executive secretary with RCA Records at Thirty Rockefeller Center, in New York City. In November of 1973, Jean and Ray were married, and she relocated to Delaware working for Hercules Inc. in both purchasing and human resources. After Krisy was born, Jean became a dedicated and trusted office manager and medical assistant for reputable surgeons and practitioners until her retirement. Her professionalism, warmth, and compassion earned her the respect and friendship of colleagues and patients alike.

Jean shared a deep affection for animals, especially her cherished golden retriever, Stella, who was her constant companion with Fearless, the cat. She had a lifelong passion for all animals and supported many organizations that advocate for their care and protection.

She and her husband Ray were longtime officers and members of the Delaware Valley Camaro Club, where they enjoyed showing her prized 1969 SS 350 Camaro while spending time with fellow enthusiasts. Jean also enjoyed league bowling, cruising and occasional trips with her girlfriends to AC. Jean and Ray formally served on the board of the historical Newark Union Church and Cemetery, where Jean will be laid to rest.

Jeanne will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely with family, friends, and all creatures great and small. Her loving spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Burial will be private.
