Nancy A. Weldin, age 84 passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 1, 2025.

Nancy is one of 13 brothers and sisters. She was married to Arthur M. Weldin III, who passed in 1991. Nancy and Arthur were blessed with two children, Catherine Jean Weldin and Arthur M. Weldin IV. She had five grandchildren William J. Klein, Cynthia J. Klein, Savannah B. Weldin, Sophia (SD) D. Weldin and Olivia J. Weldin and one great grandchild Emery J. Klein.

Nancy was born in Boston, MA. After moving to Delaware, she graduated high school in 1961 and shortly thereafter married the love of her life Arthur. Nancy started her career as a nurse's assistant and the took a position with The Little Sisters of the Poor where she retired from.

Nancy's faith was the corner stone of her life. She was a very active member of Bethany Baptist Church in Newport, DE.

Nancy enjoyed knitting and crocheting. In her later years she began making hats, scarfs and head bands for her church and other organizations that helped those in need. She also enjoyed playing games like rummy, Yahtzee, and Uno to name a few. She loved spending time with her family and would always make time for them.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11 at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington DE 19808) followed by interment at Gracelawn Memorial Park. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 a.m.
