Jean Zemanek Obituary

Jean M. Zemanek, age 86, of Erie, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at LECOM Senior Living Ctr. Jean was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna L. Osinski Zemanek.
Before retiring, Jean held various secretarial positions during her 35 yr. career at General Electric, Erie. She then joined St. John the Baptist Parish as secretary, and retired in 2018.
Jean is survived by her brother, F. Robert Zemanek; niece and nephew, Kristin (Joshua) Carey, and Todd (Carol) Zemanek; and great-nephew, Connor Carey. She is further survived by dear friends, Mary Jo, Julie, Josi, Deacon Dennis, and many others.
Friends may call at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 2635 Buffalo Road, on Saturday, December 14th from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am conducted by Rev. James McCormick. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
