Jeane A. (Wilson) Korczynski, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, at the age of 92.
Born on May 4, 1933, in Fielding, Utah, Jeane's life was deeply rooted in love and family. She is remembered as a devoted wife to W.F. "Bill" Korczynski, whom she married on February 2, 1956, in Yorktown, Texas.
Jeane was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Throughout her life, she found joy in making crafts and quilting, pursuits that showcased her creativity and dedication to her family. Her captivating spirit and love for her pets, especially her dogs, endeared her to all who knew her.
She joins in eternal rest her parents, Leland Arland Wilson and VeLoie (Yates) Wilson; her husband, Bill Korczynski; and her brother, Bill Wilson.
Jeane is survived by her loving family which includes two daughters, Velma (Doug) Odom of Carrizo Springs and Lynette Hagerty of Mesa, Arizona; son, Billy Korczynski of Beeville; grandchildren, Vanessa (Marcos) Rubalcava, Jennifer (Billie) Ryon, Hattie Odom, Marsha (Chad) Wilson and Jacob T. Hagerty; as well as great-grandchildren, Avery, Madalyn, Hayley, Izabella, Sheridan, Piper, Luke, Alamay, and Scarlett.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Beeville. The funeral service will directly follow at 2 o’clock with President David Jones officiating.
Jeane will be laid to rest at St. George Cemetery in George West where her loving husband, Bill, is resting.
Pallbearers will be Glen Ruschhaupt, James Ruschhaupt, Billie Ryon, Marcos Rubalcava, Mike McNabb and John Shears.
