Jeanene was born on June 9,1941 in Lawrence, Wi to Paul Otto Herman Bernicke, Jr and Phyllis Peterson and grew up in Portage, Wisconsin.
Jeanene is proceeded in death by husband William Irvin Davidson in 2006, daughter Cindy Renee Davidson at 2 months of age and Royce Wayne Davidson at 36 years of age. She is survived by sisters Janice Bernicke of OKC, OK; Paula Bauch of Portage, WI; and Nancy Grussing and husband Jeff of Illinois. Son William "Paul" Davidson and wife, Elana of Bowlegs, OK; Daughter Alicia Barfield and husband, Matt of Norman/Bowlegs, OK. Great-grandchildren: Reyna Murillo, Elias Murillo, Abe Murillo, Judah Murillo, Carter Holden, Camrynn Hendricks and Alexandria Littlefield.
Jeanene graduated with a Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma's School of Social Worker in 1997 and worked her entire career for Transition House in Norman, OK. She was a social justice advocate, avid reader, lover of music and staunch supporter of Women's rights and rightful place in history. A stronger "Yellow Dog Democrat" never existed as she raised her fist in resistance to autocracy, the suppression of human rights and the silencing of personal freedoms.
May your journey home be swift and your reunions joyful.

a lovely woman always kind and caring for everyone even when things were tough for her, I remember gardening and planting flowers in her back yard and I remember walking with her and her sweet kitties baby and Chester on their leashes outside laughing while they Chester ate some grass and climbed some trees, I will always cherish the time I was able to spend with her and regret the time I didn´t get to
