Jeanette M. "Jenny" Ebertz

Jeanette "Jenny" M. Ebertz, age 92, of Marytown (rural New Holstein), passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

She was born October 2, 1933, in St. Cloud to Leo & Olive (Vogds) Ott and was adopted by Alois & Eleanor (Vogds) Sippel. Jenny attended grade school in Marytown.

On October 1, 1955, she was united in marriage to Don Ebertz at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2018.

Jenny worked various jobs throughout her life. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary's Site in Marytown and a member and past president of the Altar & Rosary Society.

She enjoyed working in her flower garden and helping to arrange and decorate the flowers at church. Jenny also enjoyed word puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family.

Jenny is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Pat) Wilkens of Kiel and Kay (Tony) Pauly of St. Anna (rural New Holstein); four grandchildren, Jesse (Nicole) Wilkens, Jennifer (Josh) Wall, Kristen (Tyler) Herzog, and Karen Zorn (fiancé, Wayne Schuster); nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Leroy Ott of Merrill, WI; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Don; her birth parents and adoptive parents; a brother, Marvin (Virginia) Ott; her sister, Bernelda (Lester) Jochimsen; a stepbrother, Regis (Esther) Sippel; a sister-in-law, Millie Ott; niece, Janet Keuler; and nephews, Mike Sippel and Jerry Jochimsen.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary's Site in Marytown (N10232 County Road G, New Holstein, WI 53061). Rev. Paul Koenig, OFM Cap will officiate. Jenny will be laid to rest next to her husband, Don, in the church cemetery following the Mass.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Jenny's family at the church in Marytown on Monday, February 23rd from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
