Jeanette dedicated her days to tending to her loving home and family. She was truly a caretaker, treasured for her ability to create a safe and welcoming place where her family could flourish. Her gentle spirit and unwavering support made her a cornerstone for her loved ones, and she always had a smile on her face, radiating warmth and making everyone feel cherished. Known for her culinary gifts, Jeanette was a fabulous chef who earned a special place in the hearts of family and friends with her famous gumbo. Her passion for cooking extended beyond gumbo; she delighted in preparing seafood, particularly blue crab, which was one of her favorite delicacies. Her hobbies included sewing and playing cards, but Jeanette found immense joy in Friday nights at the Elks lodge, where she would enjoy bingo with her daughter, Janise. Jeanette’s sweetest soul endeared her to everyone she met; she was a beloved figure who had no enemies. Her proudest accomplishments included the milestones and events of her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. She was always present to cheer them on at sports games and various activities, ensuring they felt her unwavering support and love.
