Jeanne LuEllyn Andersen passed away Monday, October 3 in Buffalo, Minnesota. She was 92. She is survived by brother Robert Hall (Lois), sons Peter (Mariatu), Kurt (Marjorie) and Dane Andersen, and daughter Heidi Andersen, along with grandchildren Gabriela and Tanja Andersen, Emily Johanneck (Tim), Meagan, Ian (Jordan), Ruth and William Pawelk, Jenna Andersen and Eric Andersen.
She was born June 27, 1930 in Northfield, Minnesota, and attended school in Faribault. She graduated from Mankato State Teachers College, now Minnesota State University at Mankato, in 1951. She kept her love of learning all her life. She loved reading, especially history, and was well-versed on World War II which she had lived through when she was in school. She loved to travel, including to the UK, to Mexico, Italy, Costa Rica and Sierra Leone.
She attended St. Martin's by the Lake Episcopal Church in Minnetonka Beach, Minnesota, where for most of that time she sang in the choir, served on committees, and delivered Communion to shut-ins.
During her career she had taught high school Spanish and English, and later worked in the International Division of National Car Rental in Bloomington.
