Jeanne Komnick Obituary
Jeanne is survived by her husband; children, Justin Komnick of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jennifer Komnick of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Janelle Komnick of London, England; grandson, Wyatt; sister, Patricia Wysocki of Ingleside, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Kay Messling.
Jeanne was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Havana. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in English. She was a master gardener, a lifeguard, and an accomplished swimmer. She also volunteered at New Salem as an interpreter and in the gift shop.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Havana Regional Airport.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne's name to New Salem. Online condolences can be left for her family at www.hurleyfh.com.
Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
