Jeannetta Summers Obituary
Jeannetta Jean Summers, 88, of Burbank passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 2, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Jean was born on August 15, 1935 in Procious, WV and was a 1955 graduate of Clay County High School. On November 1, 1958 she married Cossie E. Summers and they had made their home in Burbank for the past 64 years.
Jean loved doing puzzles, quilting, knitting, bird watching, and collecting bells but most of all she loved seeing her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cossie; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and James Murray of Creston; granddaughter, Jamie and her husband Jon Wellert of West Salem; great-grandchildren Jillian and Joshua Wellert; one brother and two sisters, and special niece, Mary McCutcheon.
Services will be Monday May 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will follow at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday May 5 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
