Rochester – Jeannette I. Duntley, 64, of Rochester passed away on Tuesday, January 9 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by loving members of her family.
She was born September 9, 1959, in Rochester to Leo P. and Pauline (Lemoyne) Cormier.
Jeannette, or "Jae" as she is known to her family, graduated from Spaulding High School, class of 1977, later obtaining her bachelor's degree in business administration from Plymouth State University.
Besides loving, helping her family, her other passion and drive in life was to help others. She proudly worked in many different factions of social services. Working for Frisbie Hospital was just a launching spot for "Jae". She founded the support group Making Strides for people afflicted with cancer; would perform Reiki (a form of energy healing) for patients at Wentworth Douglas Hospital; was a Justice of the Peace, officiating many weddings; a member of the Jaycees and served on the Rochester School Board. Jae will forever be known for her big, caring, and passionate heart, helping all in need, and she will be greatly missed by all that know her.
She is predeceased by her parents Leo and Pauline, brothers Roland and Marc Cormier and brother-in-law Arthur Caouette. Survivors include husband Tim Duntley of Rochester; sons Phillip Frechette (Chandra Reber) of Concord, Scott (Amanda) Frechette of Rochester; brothers Leo (Kim) Cormier, Jr. of Milton, sisters Claire Cormier of Rochester, Madeleine Caouette of East Wakefield, Denise (Harold) Arno of Nottingham, brother- in-law(s) Edward (Tamara) Colby of Concord, Thomas (Elaine) Duntley, Theodore (Cindy Blanchette) Duntley and sister-in-law Cheri Cormier of Rochester; grandchildren Anabelle, Allison, Jakob, Zoey, Shaun Frechette and Laelya Drouinreber along with many nieces and nephews.
