Jeannine Dube Obituary

Jeannine P. Dube
With a heart full of love and memories that will last forever, we announce the peaceful passing of Jeannine P. Dube on June 8th, 2025, at the age of 91, with her loving family by her side in Charlotte, NC. Born on August 27, 1933, in New Brunswick, Canada, Jeannine was the cherished daughter of Prudent Pelletier and Alma (Sirois) Pelletier. Jeannine, affectionately known as Memere to all, lived a life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community. She retired from Allied Printing, where she was known for her diligent work ethic and kind-hearted nature. A faithful and proud parishioner of St. Teresa Church, she embodied the values of her faith through her actions and compassion and her daily attendance to their online Mass despite her distance away. Her life was a testament to the love she had for her family. She was a loving mother and Memere, not only to her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren but to her neighbors and friends as well. Jeannine's sense of humor and love for simple pleasures, such as word finds and people watching, brought joy to those around her. Her spirit of kindness and laughter will be dearly missed but will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Jeannine was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Patrick J. Dube, who no doubt welcomed her with open arms. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with mutual respect and unwavering support. She was also predeceased by seven brothers and seven sisters, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond and countless cherished memories. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by her two sisters, Cora Pelletier and Gaetane (Gilles) Nadeau, who will continue to honor her memory. She is also survived by her five children and their spouses: Linda (Alan) Fawcett, Daniel (Jennifer) Dube, Diane (Eric) Myers, Robert (Florence) Dube, and Carol (Lance) Ferris. Her twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren will forever hold onto the lessons and laughter she imparted upon them. Her wonderful neighbors, who she adored as extended family, and her newly acquired pets in her NC home-Kaya, Pharoah, Amessa, and her cat, Kat-also feel the loss of her gentle presence. Jeannine's life was a beautiful tapestry of the love she gave and the love she received. She will always be everybody's Memere and will remain in our hearts forever. Her spirit, a beacon of warmth and kindness, will continue to shine brightly through the lives of those she touched. We take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, humor, and compassion will live on for generations to come. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 19th at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home, located at 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held following calling hours at St. Bridget Church, located at 80 Main Street, Manchester, CT with Burial to Follow at St. James Cemetery at 386 Broad Street, Manchester, CT. My Mom & Dad (Gladys & Reed Levesque) were great friends with Pat & Jeannine for years.
Jeannine worked with my Dad at Allied Printing and the stories they would tell were amazing. My Mom had worked with her I do believe at the parachute place in Manchester.
Her laughter was contagious, and she never had a bad thing to say about anyone.
I am sure your Dad, Mom and my parents are raising hell in heaven and enjoying the fun! I will stop over to say hi to your parents since they are in the same row as mine when I visit them.
My deepest condolences to your entire family.
