Jeff Allen

Jeffrey "Jeff" Eugene Allen, age 49 of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2024. Jeff was born on September 29, 1974 in Randolph Hospital to the late Herod "Andrew" and Iva "Louann" Allen. Jeff had many jobs in his lifetime- working in the furniture industry, driving big rigs all across the U.S., and most recently, self employed as a landscaper. He took pride in making sure that all the lawns he did looked picture perfect and will be missed greatly by many homeowners and businesses he provided services for. Continually smiling, Jeff was always good for a laugh. He would help anyone with anything and was what you might call a "Jack-of-all-trades" He loved his family, friends and had a special place in his heart for all animals. Jeff is survived by his daughter, Katie Nicole Allen and her boyfriend, John Harden, of Franklinville; Fiancé, Gwen Sands of Asheboro; brother, Timmy (Joyce) Allen of Randleman; two granddaughters, Willow Sky and Zelda Lynn Rose Colman of Franklinville; uncles, David (Denise) Allen and Donnie Allen, both of Randleman; Aunts, Shirley (Andy) Hunt of Asheboro and Brenda (Donald) Lingerfelt of Archdale; and many cousins. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herod and Lillie Mae Allen and Eugene and Margaret White; a granddaughter, Athena Lynn Coleman and grandson, Brian James Coleman. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a date to be announced later. Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service is honored to assist the Allen Family.
