Jeff "Bubba" Good

Jeff "Bubba" Good, 60, of Chariton, passed away February 22, 2026, at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 27th, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Following the visitation a graveside service will be held at the Mt. Zion Cemetery. After the burial a luncheon will be held at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bubba's family in care of his brother, Tim Good.

Jeff was born to Timothy and Betty (Oxenreider) Good Sr. in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He lived in Weston Missouri until the 6th grade. He then moved to Iowa and attended school at Southeast Warren. After high school he attended auto body classes at Indian Hills Community College. He loved working on cars and motorcycles.

He worked loading trucks for the meat packing company Mumfords. Jeff also worked for O'Riley construction surveying and had worked at the Etter Truck wash in Chariton. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. And could always be found with friends and family playing pitch and cribbage.

Bubba was preceded in death by his parents: Tim Good Sr. in 1978 and Betty (Oxenreider) Good in 2011.

He is survived by his brother, Tim (Jennifer) Good Jr., nephews: Timothy (Blaire) Good, Taylor (Abbey) Good; niece, Tori Good; great nephew, Collsen Good; Aunts and Uncles: Ed (Virginia) Oxenreider, Gale Oxenreider, Judy (Craig) Bonnett; and Marleen Oxenreider; along with many relatives and friends.
