Jeffrey Lane Momot, 67, of Farmington passed away September 19, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 18, 1957 in Bonne Terre to the late John Momot and Cleda (Rickman) Momot.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Momot and sister-in-law, Teresa Miner.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Catherine Momot; mother, Cleda (Rickman) Momot; children, Brandy Momot Pratt and husband Byron, Jeffrey Miller, Megan Miller Wampler and husband Jarred; grandchildren, Reid Pratt and wife Camri, Ella Pratt and special friend Andrew Coleman, Kayla Miller, Claira Armstrong and husband Jack, Chloe Wampler, Noah Wampler; siblings, Tony Momot and wife Laura, John Momot and wife Angela. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.
Jeff was a dedicated member of the Carpenter’s and Millwright Union 1770. He began his career after graduating from Leadwood High School class of 1975. He was a supervisor and leader on many large job sites across the country. Jeff frequently gave back to his community by participating in the United Way fundraisers at Christmas and through community service outreach with the Farmington Elks Lodge 1765.
Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with an Elks service at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday at 10:00 AM until the time of service at Noon at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel with Rev. Kendall Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington.
