Jeffery Thomas "Jeff" Hinkle

Jeffery "Jeff" Thomas Hinkle, 55, formerly of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025. A native of Shelbyville, he was the son of the late Lois Jean Stuart Hinkle and James Griffin "Bugger" Hinkle. He obtained an associate's degree in hospitality from Northwood University. He was previously employed at Hardees and Waffle House in the maintenance department and considered himself to be a handyman. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and singing and had a tremendous love for children. He was a member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, one son, Jeffery Hinkle, one brother, Marty Hinkle and one sister, Sonya Hinkle, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Stacey Marshall Hinkle of Shelbyville; six children, Tasha Carr, Jureice Gordon, Anthony Carr and Sierra Brown, all of Louisville and Saadya Marshall-Walker and Statrik Marshall-Walker, both of Shelbyville; seven siblings, Doug Hinkle, James "Tony" Hinkle, Brian Hinkle, Melissa Harris, Norita Hinkle, Erica Robinson and Nalyon Robinson; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 10 a.m. Cremation will follow the services, and the cremated remains will be privately interred later.
