Thomas "Buddy" Milburn Sweeney III, 43, Eminence, died Thursday, October 9, 2025 suddenly and unexpectedly at U. of L. Hospital in Louisville. A native of Louisville, he was the son of Cheryl Sweeney Winsor and Steve Winsor. He was a graduate of Oldham County High School, Class of 2000. "Buddy", as he was affectionately known to many, was a very creative soul. As a result, his career path followed carpentry, where he used his artistic talent in the residential construction field. Additionally, he was an accomplished tattoo artist, and many proudly display his artwork. His legacy will live on in the many creative results of his talents. In his leisure time, he enjoyed art, music, attending concerts and playing pool.

Buddy was named after his maternal grandfather, Thomas Milburn Sweeney, Jr., who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Donovan Sweeney of Carrollton; his parents, Cheryl and Steve Winsor of Eminence; his sister, Ashley Winsor of Texas; his brother, Austin Winsor of Trimble County and four life-long, dear friends, Candice Morton, James Gillock, Joey Gillock and Taylor Cole.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the gathering, and the cremated remains will be privately interred later.

Flowers are welcome, and expressions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.webbfuneralhome.com.
