Jeffery King Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Byrum Funeral Home Inc. on Oct. 9, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Jeffery Len King, beloved son, brother, and father was born May 23, 1978 in Dallas, TX and passed away on October 3, 2025 surrounded by family and friends who loved him deeply. He was the cherished son of Tommy Len King and Cynthia "Katie" King, brother to Kimberly Ann Riepe, and proud father of Jace Bentley King, the light of his life.
Jeff grew up with a love for the outdoors and found peace in hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature, and he was happiest when a country song was playing in the background. Those who knew Jeff knew his deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures and the quiet beauty of the world around him.
As an adult, Jeff's life was anchored by two things: his faith in Jesus and his love for his son, Jace. His relationship with God gave him strength, while his role as a father brought him purpose and pride beyond measure.
Jeff's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior. His legacy lives on through his son, Jace, and through the many lives he touched.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 2:00pm at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster, TX. Visitation will be held on October 10, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 at Byrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, TX.
