Jeffery D. Patz, 61, of Alexandria, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, following a brief illness.
Born on May 19, 1964, in Anderson, Indiana, he was the son of Hubert and Evelyn (Denson) Patz. Jeff graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School in the Class of 1982 and subsequently pursued studies in computer graphics at Ivy Tech.
As a self-employed carpet contractor, Jeff built a successful career working with various carpet retailers, showcasing his dedication and expertise in the industry.
Jeff was known for his genuine affection for his family, serving as a loving father and grandfather. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones and had a passion for NASCAR, often enjoying the excitement of races.
He is survived by his children, Jake Patz and Maddison Patz, and his grandchildren, Ryker Patz, Milo Patz, and Myles Patz. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Evelyn Patz.
Plans for services and a celebration of Jeff's life are currently underway.
