Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Jeffery Walker will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, 1:00 pm in the chapel of Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home Chapel 1315 Gus Thornhill Jr. Dr., East Point, GA 30344.
Visitation: Friday, July 18, 2025, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at the Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home.
Jeffery was born on June 2, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Charlotte Brooks and Jerome Walker. He was oldest son of five children.
Jeffery was married to Virginia Spears for sixteen years and was a devoted and loving full-time Caregiver to her for the past 9 years. Jeffery and Virginia worshipped with Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
Jeff graduated from Columbia High School and attended DeKalb Community College in Decatur, Georgia.
Jeff is survived by his wife Virginia, his daughter Dionne Walker, sisters - Vernice Major (Charles), Pamela Dollar, Tracey Brooks, Tanisha Walker,and brothers Alan Brooks, Derrick Walker Kendall and grandchildren- Lavonte Walker, Amari Glass, Zaria Glass,Kameron Walker, great grandson - Eazi Gibson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and Friends are asked to assemble in the chapel at 12:30 pm.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Jeffery Walker. He was my first real friend during a challenging time in my life. He was a great person and I know that he has gone home to be with the Lord. His memory has been and will always a blessing.
