Darryl Dalton Obituary
Darryl Lee Dalton was born May 5, 1967, to the late James and Emma Dalton. He grew up in Atlanta/Decatur GA. Receiving his education at Tony Elementary School and Columbia High School.
He worked at Therell Kizer Roofing for 7 years, then later Marshall's Distribution for 5 years. Darryl started to work as a Supervisor for CHOA (Children's Healthcare of Atlanta) in 1999-2017. Then he started to work for UHAUL as a facility manager for 10 years, as his last job.
Darryl will be proceeded in death by his late mother Emma Carlisle Dalton and James Edward Dalton Sr, brother, his late sister, Gayle Dalton Raybon.
Darryl met his love of his wife, Octavia Y Ramey in 1988, they later married in June of 1996, to present 37 years of union.
Darryle's Hobbies were working 2 jobs at a time to provide for his family and he was a dedicated and hardworking husband.
Darryl leaves to cherish his memories: his wife and 2 stepchildren that he loved and raised for 37 years. Octavia Yvette Dalton, Kenneth Hill(Kay), Kierra Hill-Sullivan(Kee), Herschel Sullivan(son-in-law) and a grand-daughter, Tellia Hill(Tea-pot), Brother; Keavy Dalton, and his one brother-in-law; Anson(Amp/Bilal) Ramey. Two nephews, Damond Raybon and Carvell Raybon. A host of relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Rainbow Park Baptist Church, 2941 Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30034. Please express your condolences here on our website. Services entrusted to Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home, South Dekalb Chapel 4347 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur, GA 30034.
