Jeffie Denise Bowen

Jeffie Denise Bowen, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away surrounded by his family on December 13, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on July 15, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the cherished son of Horrace Bowen and Leona Gurganus.
Jeffie was a dedicated machine operator at Kwik Set. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including a deep love for animals and the great outdoors. His passion for western shows added vibrancy to his life, and he will be remembered for his warm spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.
On March 19, 1988, Jeffie married his devoted wife, Linda Kay Mendenhall Bowen, and their marriage was blessed with many loving years together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Mitchell Bowen and Ronnie Bowen.
Jeffie is survived by his loving spouse, Linda Bowen, his son Jeffie Bowen and wife Annie, step children, LeeAnn Branum and husband Kevin, and Benjamin Conrad, grandchildren, Micheal Conrad, Mark McDougall, Angeleena Quintero, Candace Conrad, Heather Conrad, Breanna Vaughn, Kimberlie Hadaway, and Samantha Bowen; great grandchildren Thomas McDougall and Nathan Grayson; sisters, Rita Springston, Dorothy Pool, and Betty Robertson; who will all miss him dearly.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
