Jeffrey "Jeff" Allcorn

Ava, Missouri

Jeffrey David "Jeff" Allcorn, 68 years, 10 months, 17 days old, passed away on August 23, 2025.

On October 6, 1956, Jeffrey was born in Centralia, Missouri, to Dr. Donald and Joyce (Griffith) Allcorn.

Jeff and Wendy Baskett were married on May 9, 1975, in Columbia, Missouri. Together they had three children, Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah. Wendy passed away in 2017.

Jeff and Karen Brothers were united in marriage on February 11, 2018, in Ava, Missouri.

Jeff was a muscician through and through. He played the clarinet and saxophone in Jr. High and High School. He became the drum major in his sophomore year at Beecher High School in Beecher, Michigan. Jeff and Wendy sang with a Southern Gospel group. Jeff often accompanied them with his guitar. Jeff sang with the praise and worship team at Destination Church until his lung disease made it too difficult for him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Wendy; brother, Peter Michael Allcorn.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Karen; his children and their spouses, Joshua and Erica Allcorn of Sedalia, Missouri, Caleb Allcorn and Laura Hammond of Ava, Missouri, and Hannah Allcorn Zargosa and Patrick Klobnak of Sedlia, Missouri; grandchildren Drake Pacheco, Tucker Johnson, Matt Allcorn, Kaitlin Allcorn, Meadow Allcorn, Ellie Allcorn, Ethan Allcorn, Isabelle Zargosa, Ruth Allcorn, Emerson Harris, Isabelle Zargosa; great grandchildren, Zayne Alexander and Kaisen Pacheco; brothers, Dr. Donald R. Allcorn and Brenda of Cole Camp, Missouri, Chuck Allcorn of Warsaw, Missouri, and sisters, Ann and Frank Martin, of Hallsville, Missouri, and Susan and Dr. Bob Admire of Lantana, Texas.

Funeral services for Jeff will be Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Destination Church in Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 6:00 – 7:00 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel; Ava, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor James Hathcock and Pastor Nolan Carrier. Memorials may be made to the Generations Project at Cross Point Church.
